Job Overview

The Sustainability Reporting Analyst will play a pivotal role in consolidating, analysing, and presenting Unilever Eswatini’s sustainability data in line with international reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and the UN Global Compact. Working closely with the Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams, the analyst will ensure that all sustainability metrics are accurately captured, validated, and integrated into the company’s financial statements and external disclosures. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and consolidate sustainability data from across the supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial functions.
• Prepare quarterly and annual sustainability reports in compliance with GRI, SASB, and UNGC standards.
• Analyse ESG performance trends and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with finance to integrate sustainability metrics into financial reporting packages.
• Support the development and maintenance of internal dashboards for real‑time ESG monitoring.
• Assist in stakeholder engagement activities, including preparing briefing materials for investors, NGOs, and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with regional Unilever sustainability teams to ensure alignment with global targets.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data collection and reporting.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, UNGC) and sustainability metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as GRI Certified Training, CFA ESG Investing, or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

Applicants should have 2‑4 years of experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data analysis, financial reporting, or a related analytical role within a consumer‑goods or manufacturing environment. Experience with multinational corporations and exposure to international reporting standards will be considered a strong asset.

Salary
