Job Overview

The Wind Farm Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall performance, safety and reliability of Vestas‑operated wind farms in the Siteki region. This role ensures optimal energy production, oversees maintenance strategies, manages stakeholder relationships and drives continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of wind farm assets, ensuring maximum availability and performance.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans in coordination with engineering teams.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as capacity factor, downtime, and O&M costs, and report to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, health‑and‑safety standards, and Vestas’ environmental policies.
• Manage relationships with local authorities, landowners, and community representatives to foster positive engagement.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and procurement of spare parts and services.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce emissions and lower operational expenditures.

Education

Experience

Minimum of five years of experience in wind farm operations, asset management or related renewable energy fields is essential. Prior experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and overseeing large‑scale projects will be highly valued.

Salary
