Job Overview

This role is pivotal in advancing DHL Eswatini’s commitment to sustainable logistics. The Supply Chain Sustainability Analyst will design and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact across the supply chain, from procurement to delivery. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to align operational goals with global sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor KPIs for supply chain sustainability performance
  • Conduct lifecycle assessments of logistics operations to identify improvement opportunities
  • Implement carbon reduction initiatives in transportation and warehousing
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enforce eco-friendly procurement practices
  • Prepare sustainability reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in sustainability frameworks (e.g., ISO 14001, UN SDGs)
  • Expertise in supply chain management software (SAP, Oracle)
  • Data analysis and reporting using Excel or Tableau
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of Eswatini’s environmental regulations

Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree in Sustainable Development or Supply Chain Management is highly advantageous.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years in supply chain management, sustainability consulting, or logistics operations. Experience in Eswatini’s logistics sector or similar Southern African markets is preferred.

Salary

SSP 18,000 – 25,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
