Job Overview
The Renewable Energy Engineer will lead the design, installation, and optimization of solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbine systems for both on‑site and off‑site projects. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects meet performance, cost, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed engineering designs for solar PV and wind projects, including site assessments, layout planning, and equipment selection.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses, and risk assessments to support project decision‑making.
- Oversee procurement, installation, commissioning, and performance testing of renewable energy systems.
- Collaborate with local authorities to secure permits, ensure compliance with Eswatini energy regulations, and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor system performance, analyze data, and implement optimization strategies to maximize energy output.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field technicians.

Education

Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience designing, installing, or managing solar and/or wind energy projects. Experience in the Southern African energy market, particularly within Eswatini, is highly valued.
Salary
