Job Overview

The Mining Operations Planner will be based in Lobamba, Eswatini, and will play a pivotal role in designing, coordinating, and optimizing the daily and long‑term mining plans for Anglo American’s regional projects. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short‑term and long‑term mine production schedules using industry‑leading software tools.
• Coordinate with drilling, blasting, and haulage teams to ensure seamless execution of mine plans.
• Analyze geological data and ore body models to optimize extraction sequences and minimize waste.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ore grade, recovery rates, and equipment utilization, adjusting plans as needed.
