Job Overview
This Environmental Data Analyst role is part of Tetra Tech’s expanding operations in Eswatini. The position involves analyzing environmental datasets to support climate adaptation projects, biodiversity conservation initiatives, and sustainable land management programs. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze environmental datasets using GIS and statistical software
- Prepare reports and visualizations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with field teams to validate data accuracy
- Develop predictive models for climate impact assessments
- Support grant proposals with data-driven recommendations
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis
- Experience with ArcGIS or QGIS
- Strong communication skills for presenting findings
- Knowledge of environmental policy frameworks

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, or related field. Advanced degrees in Data Science or Environmental Engineering are advantageous.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in environmental data analysis, preferably in Southern Africa. Experience with climate resilience projects or ecosystem monitoring is a plus.
Salary
15,000 – 20,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
