Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist to join our Security Operations Center. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network traffic and security logs to identify suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
  • Lead the investigation and containment of security incidents, including malware infections, unauthorized access, and DDoS attacks.
  • Perform deep-dive forensic analysis to determine the root cause of security incidents and prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and implement incident response playbooks and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden system defenses.
  • Provide detailed post-incident reports to stakeholders, outlining the timeline, impact, and remediation steps taken.
  • Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and emerging cyberattack methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in network security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions.
  • Strong expertise in malware analysis and reverse engineering techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and other core networking protocols.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills under intense pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical findings into actionable business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR and local data protection laws.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, or CEH are highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, specifically focusing on incident response or threat hunting. Proven experience in managing large-scale security breaches and conducting digital forensics is essential for success in this role. Salary
