Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry and Biodiversity Specialist to join our team in Ngwenya, Eswatini. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our conservation efforts. This role will involve working closely with our conservation team to design and implement digital tools and platforms that enhance our ability to monitor and protect biodiversity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital solutions to support conservation efforts
  • Design and implement digital tools and platforms to enhance biodiversity monitoring and protection
  • Collaborate with conservation team to develop and implement conservation strategies
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform conservation decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in conservation
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English and Swati

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in conservation, digital technologies, or a related field

Salary: SSP 80,000 – SSP 120,000 per annum
