Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Materials Scientist to join our R&D team in Piggs Peak, Eswatini. As a Sustainable Materials Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable materials solutions that meet the needs of our customers while also promoting environmental sustainability.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in the field. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable materials solutions, collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities, and developing and maintaining relationships with external partners and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable materials solutions that meet the needs of our customers while also promoting environmental sustainability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable materials solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers to ensure the availability of sustainable materials.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the sustainable materials market.
Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in the field of sustainable materials science.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainable materials solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Education
Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from a reputable university.
