Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Materials Scientist to join our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable materials solutions that meet the needs of our customers and contribute to the company’s sustainability goals.

The Sustainable Materials Scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for sustainable materials development and implementation. They will also be responsible for conducting research and development activities, testing and evaluating materials, and collaborating with suppliers to source sustainable materials.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science and engineering, with a focus on sustainable materials development. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sustainable materials solutions that meet the needs of our customers and contribute to the company’s sustainability goals
  • Conduct research and development activities to identify opportunities for sustainable materials development and implementation
  • Test and evaluate materials to ensure they meet the company’s sustainability standards
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source sustainable materials and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for sustainable materials development and implementation
  • Required Skills
  • Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering
  • 8-12 years of experience in materials science and engineering, with a focus on sustainable materials development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Education

    Salary

    The salary for this position is 80,000 – 120,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
