Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Petroleum Geochemist to join our exploration team in Big Bend. This role is critical to our success in identifying and characterizing hydrocarbon reservoirs. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the drilling team to optimize mud chemistry and prevent formation damage.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior geochemists and laboratory technicians.

Education

A minimum of a Master of Science (MSc) in Geochemistry, Petroleum Engineering, or a closely related Earth Science discipline is required. A PhD in Organic Geochemistry is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage for this senior-level position.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience in petroleum geochemistry, preferably within an exploration or production environment. Salary
