Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead Nestlé Eswatini’s quality systems, ensuring that all products comply with local regulations, international standards, and Nestlé’s internal policies. Reporting to the Regional Quality Director, the manager will oversee a team of quality engineers and technicians, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and local food safety regulations.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are identified, tracked, and closed on time.
  • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) throughout production, conducting risk assessments and root‑cause analyses.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams to embed quality by design principles into new product launches.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive quality reports to senior management, highlighting trends, non‑conformities, and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage supplier qualification and performance monitoring to guarantee raw material compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects and enhance efficiency.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, GFSI).
  • Proven leadership and team‑development abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in statistical tools.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or HACCP Practitioner are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the food and beverage manufacturing sector. Salary
