Job Overview
World Vision Eswatini is seeking a highly experienced, passionate, and results-oriented Project Facilitator to support the implementation of climate resilience, environmental sustainability, and livelihoods interventions aimed at ending child hunger and malnutrition.

Position Summary
The Project Facilitator will coordinate project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and environmental sustainability integration across World Vision programming.
The role requires technical expertise in climate adaptation, climate mitigation, ecosystem restoration, environmental policy, sustainable livelihoods, resilience programming, green technologies, and stakeholder coordination.
The selected professional will also support advocacy efforts, technical training, policy development, and integration of Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action (ESCA) models into field programming.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Implementation
- Manage and implement activities under the ecosystem restoration and sustainable agriculture project in the Mbuluzi River Basin
- Ensure projects are implemented within approved budgets and donor requirements
- Coordinate sustainable livelihoods and environmental stewardship interventions
- Support implementation of climate-smart agriculture and resilience initiatives
- Ensure effective integration of climate action into sector programmes
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports
- Monitor project performance and ensure accountability for results
- Utilize climate and seasonal forecasts to guide adaptive planning and risk mitigation
- Update anticipatory action plans aligned with national climate frameworks
Environmental Sustainability & Climate Action
- Lead implementation of Regreening Communities as an ESCA core project model
- Promote ecosystem restoration and integrated natural resource management
- Recommend innovative technologies to reduce environmental impacts and improve resilience
- Provide technical guidance on environmental sustainability strategies
Capacity Building & Technical Support
- Develop training manuals and IEC materials for staff, partners, and communities
- Train and mentor field teams on climate resilience and environmental compliance
- Support Area Programme staff in integrating livelihoods and ESCA into programming
- Strengthen staff knowledge on sustainability indicators and reporting systems
Policy, Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop advocacy materials such as:
- Policy briefs
