Job Summary
AHF Eswatini is seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support pharmaceutical operations and ensure the safe dispensing, storage, and management of medicines and medical supplies. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to maintain quality pharmacy services and efficient inventory systems.
This position is ideal for individuals with strong pharmaceutical knowledge, inventory management skills, and a passion for delivering quality healthcare services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines according to approved dispensing protocols
- Maintain accurate pharmaceutical inventory records using approved systems
- Receive, verify, and document deliveries of medicines and medical supplies
- Ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals in line with Good Storage Practice standards
- Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and stock verification exercises
- Compile pharmaceutical reports and submit stock orders to the supervising Pharmacist
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy procedures, healthcare regulations, and professional standards
- Support quality customer service within the pharmacy environment
- Operate and update electronic pharmacy management systems including CMIS and Rx-Solution

Education Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Registration and good standing with the Eswatini Medical and Dental Council
- Additional qualifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare environment is highly desirable
- Experience using electronic pharmacy management systems such as CMIS or Rx-Solution preferred
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory management and stock control procedures
