Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in geophysics, including seismic and magnetic surveys, and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research projects.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage and supervise junior staff and students.

Required Skills:

  • Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field.
  • Experience in seismic and magnetic surveys, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Geophysics or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics or a related field.

Experience:

  • 8-12 years of experience in geophysics research.
  • Experience in managing and supervising junior staff and students.
  • Experience in collaborating with industry partners and stakeholders.

Salary:80,000 – 120,000 SSP per annum.
