Job Overview

The Financial Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing the bank’s core financial applications, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the implementation of new modules that drive efficiency across the organization. Reporting to the Finance Technology Manager, the analyst will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including accounting, risk, and IT, to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, configure, and maintain core banking and financial reporting systems such as SAP FI/CO, Oracle Financials, or equivalent platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and document functional specifications.
  • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing, and post‑implementation reviews to ensure successful roll‑outs.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT support to resolve incidents promptly.
  • Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for accurate financial reporting.
  • Support regulatory reporting by ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
  • Provide training and user support to finance teams on system functionalities and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, recommending enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and SQL querying.
  • Understanding of banking processes, financial statements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or SAP Financials are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

Candidates should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in financial systems analysis, ERP implementation, or related roles within the banking or financial services sector. Experience with regulatory reporting in Eswatini or the Southern African region is a plus.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 250,000 to 350,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives may be awarded based on individual and bank performance.
