Job Overview
The Aerospace Systems Integration Engineer will join GE’s Aviation Systems division, focusing on the design, validation, and integration of avionics, propulsion, and structural components for next‑generation aircraft platforms. This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and supply‑chain specialists, to ensure seamless system performance from concept through production. Key Responsibilities

- Perform hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) simulations and real‑time testing to validate system performance under varied operational conditions.
- Document test results, generate technical reports, and present findings to senior engineering leadership.

- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate flight control algorithms and ensure robust data communication across subsystems.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of aerospace standards such as DO‑178C, ARP4754, and MIL‑STD‑1553.
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools (e.g., SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS).
- Hands‑on experience with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, and HIL rigs.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a methodical approach to root‑cause analysis.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to dynamic project timelines.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Advanced degrees (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) are highly desirable and may be considered an asset for complex system design responsibilities.
Experience
