Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission industrial robotic cells for assembly, material handling, and packaging applications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate robotics with existing production lines.
• Develop and maintain PLC and robot controller code, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses, and risk assessments for automation projects.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and on‑site commissioning for robotic systems.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel on safe robot operation and preventive maintenance.
• Stay updated on emerging robotics technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in robot programming languages (e.g., RAPID, KRL, FANUC, ABB RobotStudio).
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley) and industrial networking.
• Experience with vision systems, sensors, and end‑effector integration.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in robotics or automation are a plus.

Experience

3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in industrial robotics, automation engineering, or related fields, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Salary
