Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Hospitality Sommelier to join our world-class food and beverage team. Key Responsibilities

• Curate and manage an extensive, high-end wine and beverage cellar.
• Provide expert wine pairing recommendations to guests based on their culinary selections.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and manage procurement of premium beverages.
• Train and mentor junior floor staff on wine service standards and product knowledge.
• Maintain impeccable cellar temperature and storage conditions.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design seasonal beverage menus.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of international wine regions, vintages, and grape varieties.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Deep understanding of food and wine pairing principles.
• Strong organizational skills for cellar management and inventory control.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced luxury dining environment.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Viticulture, or a related field is required. Professional certification such as CMS (Court of Master Sommeliers) or WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 3 or higher is highly preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a fine-dining or luxury resort setting is essential. Proven experience in cellar management and staff training is a significant advantage for this job vacancy in Eswatini.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and certifications.
