Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Project Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in structuring, evaluating, and managing the financial aspects of TotalEnergies’ renewable projects in Eswatini. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models for solar, wind, and hybrid projects, incorporating capital expenditures, operating costs, revenue streams, and tax implications.
  • Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess project risks and identify mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, feasibility studies, and presentation decks for senior management and external financiers.
  • Coordinate with the Project Development, Legal, and Engineering teams to gather data and ensure alignment of financial assumptions with technical specifications.
  • Monitor project cash flows, budget adherence, and financial performance against key performance indicators.
  • Support negotiations with banks, equity partners, and government agencies to secure financing on favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, international accounting standards, and TotalEnergies’ internal policies.
  • Provide regular financial reporting and updates to stakeholders, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel or specialized software (e.g., @RISK, PVSyst).

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying technical financial concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy market dynamics, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and financing structures.

Education
