My recent experience as a Legal Intern and now legal Assistant with Ben Nevis International Limited has provided me with practical exposure to cross-border corporate legal matters and strengthened my ability to support complex commercial transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
My responsibilities included drafting and reviewing a wide range of corporate and commercial documents, including Non-Circumvention Non-Disclosure Agreements (NCNDAs), Shareholder Agreements (SHAs), appointment letters, investment term sheets, and other commercial contracts. Through these assignments, I developed strong legal drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills while ensuring that documents aligned with applicable legal and commercial requirements.
I also assisted in legal due diligence processes for acquisitions and investment transactions, where I reviewed documentation, identified compliance considerations, and supported transaction-related decision-making. Additionally, I conducted client onboarding procedures, Know Your Client (KYC) reviews, and preliminary due diligence assessments in accordance with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Beyond transactional work, I assisted with startup registration processes and collaborated with venture capital firms, marketing agencies, and external legal professionals. This exposure provided valuable insight into the intersection of law, entrepreneurship, investment, and business development.

Work & Experience
During my tenure, I provided comprehensive corporate legal assistance across multi-jurisdictional frameworks spanning India, the United Kingdom, and Canada, with a specialized focus on corporate and commercial law. My key responsibilities included assisting clients on corporate law matters, regulatory requirements, and cross-border structuring issues across relevant jurisdictions. I demonstrated strong drafting and negotiation skills in preparing a range of corporate documents, including Non-Circumvention Non-Disclosure Agreements (NCNDAs), Shareholder Agreements (SHAs), appointment letters, investment term sheets, and commercial agreements. I actively assisted in legal due diligence for acquisitions and investment transactions, where I prepared and reviewed legal documentation, identified key compliance requirements, and supported client decision-making processes.
