Job Overview
The Risk Advisory Consultant will join KPMG’s Risk Advisory practice in Matsapha, delivering high‑quality risk assessment, mitigation, and governance services to a broad spectrum of clients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, including operational, financial, regulatory, and cyber risk analyses.
- Develop and implement customized risk management frameworks, policies, and controls for clients across various sectors.
- Assist clients in preparing for regulatory examinations and audits, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to embed risk awareness throughout client organizations.
- Collaborate with data analytics teams to leverage advanced analytics and emerging technologies for risk monitoring.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and executive summaries that communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
- Support business development initiatives by contributing to proposals, thought leadership, and client relationship building.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in risk management tools, GRC platforms, and data visualization software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Solid understanding of Eswatini regulatory landscape and international risk standards such as ISO 31000.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Analyst (CRA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in risk advisory, internal audit, compliance, or consulting. Experience working with multinational clients or within regulated industries such as banking, energy, telecommunications, or manufacturing will be viewed favorably.
Salary
KPMG offers a competitive compensation package ranging from SSP 150,000 to SSP 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and performance. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, pension contributions, and other statutory benefits.
