Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems tailored to specific mining sites.
• Lead accident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure all machinery is maintained to safety standards.
• Coordinate with site managers to integrate safety protocols into daily production workflows.
• Prepare detailed technical reports for senior management and regulatory bodies regarding safety performance and compliance metrics.
• Manage emergency response planning and conduct regular drills to ensure site readiness.

Education

Experience

A minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in a safety-critical mining environment is mandatory. Proven experience in a supervisory or inspectorate role is essential.
