Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Procurement Officer to join our Matsapha manufacturing facility. This role is critical in managing our complex supply chain, ensuring that all raw materials, packaging, and indirect services are procured at the best possible value without compromising on quality or sustainability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement costs and supply reliability.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for raw materials, packaging, and MRO supplies.
- Negotiate complex service level agreements (SLAs) and commercial contracts with local and international vendors.
- Conduct regular supplier performance audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the finance and production departments to manage procurement budgets and inventory levels.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive market analysis and contingency planning.
- Implement sustainable procurement practices to align with global environmental goals.

Education

Experience
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within a large-scale manufacturing or FMCG environment is required. Proven track record of managing high-value contracts and leading procurement projects is essential.
Salary
The annual salary for this position ranges from 150,000 SSP to 280,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. This package is subject to statutory deductions.
