Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry and Biodiversity Specialist to join our team in Piggs Peak, Eswatini. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our conservation efforts in the region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the protection of Eswatini’s natural resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support conservation efforts in Eswatini
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify and address environmental challenges
- Conduct research and analysis to inform conservation strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders
- Provide technical support and training to local conservation teams
Required Skills:
- Strong technical skills in digital forestry and biodiversity conservation
- Experience working with local communities and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English and local languages
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in digital forestry and biodiversity conservation
