Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans for sustainable infrastructure initiatives, including green buildings, smart transportation systems, and water conservation projects.
  • Collaborate with municipal authorities, NGOs, and private sector partners to align project goals with local development priorities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for proposed infrastructure projects.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure project deliverables meet quality and sustainability standards.
  • Monitor project progress using digital tools and reporting frameworks to track performance against KPIs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in project management of infrastructure or urban development projects.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and climate resilience strategies.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and GIS mapping tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and translate it into actionable project plans.

Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development or Public Policy is a strong advantage.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure project management, with a focus on sustainability and community development. Experience working in Eswatini or Southern Africa is preferred.

Salary

15,000 – 20,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
