Job Overview
The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will lead the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role is pivotal in safeguarding consumer trust and maintaining Nestlé’s reputation for excellence across the Food & Beverage sector in Eswatini. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, R&D, and Supply Chain, to embed quality at every stage of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies that align with Nestlé’s global standards.
- Lead audits, inspections, and corrective action plans across all production lines.
- Collaborate with R&D to validate new product formulations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Mentor and train QA staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Siswati is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Food Technology, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Certified Quality Auditor) will be considered a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the Food & Beverage industry, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Demonstrated success in leading quality initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
Salary
The annual salary for this position ranges from 200,000 to 300,000 L, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance-based incentives may apply.
